Easy to use WordPress based slider

First slider is an easy to use responsive slider, using Slider Library to upload, delete images and update captions; using shortcode [firstslider] to place slider on posts, pages and widgets.

The front end is based on jQuery FlexSlider v2.0 (2012) from Wowslider.

Docs and Support

Overview: All the images you have uploaded are listed in the Slider Library, with the most recent uploads listed first. You can use the Screen Options tab to customize the display of this screen, and Save Caption to update a caption.

Shortcode: Use [firstslider] to show sliders with default settings.

Parameters and default settings

  • animation: slider or fade. Default: slider
  • width: Width of the sliders. Default: 100%
  • color: Capture's font color. Default: #ffffff
  • background: Capture's background color. Default: #000000
