SingSong WordPress plugin allows you to add a background sound or music to each section of your Blog (Home, Single, Page, Archive).
- Understands the importance of cross-browser compatibility
- Supports all major audio formats
Two ways to use SingSong plugin :
Background Sound or music : You can associate a sound file with each section of your website : a sepecific page or post , all pages or posts, Home, archives... When the page/post is displayed in a Web browser, the sound file repeats the number of times that you specify (Loop or just one time). Activate the plugin and enter the full URL of an audio file or playlist for each section/page/post of your site. Examples: Home : http://www.mymusic.com/mysong1.mp3 So mysong1.mp3 will be played every time someone visits your home page
Player : This plugin comes also with a simple Player. To use the player you have two options:
The player will be directly embedded into the page content.
To use this option copy and past this code into your posts/pages: [singsong-insert:URL of an audio file or a playlist] Example : [singsong-insert:http://www.mysite.com/mymusique/song.mp3]
Use this option if you want to be sure that your visitors can listen to the music without interruptions anywhere on your WordPress site. This option will display a link (text or image). when someone clicks on this link a new mini-window (popup) will open which will display your player. You can change the dimensions of the pop up window using "Window Dimensions" parameters. To use this option copy and past this code into your posts/pages: [singsong-popup:URL of an audio file or playlist]
Example : [singsong-popup:http://www.mysite.com/mymusique/song.mp3]
