Revised Meta Tag

* I'm resubmitting this plugin as I want the plugin slug to be changed. My previous submission for this plugin was: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/revise-meta-tag/

This small plugin adds the meta 'revised' tag in the section of the posts and pages of WordPress.

The meta 'revised' tag is used to make available the last modified date & time of a webpage to web crawlers.

Implementing 'revised' tag in WordPress posts and pages becomes very easy with this plugin, and one can see the tag added to the posts and pages just after installing it.

The "meta revised tag" is used to tell Search Engine Bots (Google, Yahoo!, Bing etc.) the Last Modified Date and Time of any Webpage in which you have made certain changes.

Web crawlers can then decide, whether there’s any need to save a new copy of the webpage OR update their indexes?

Example of a Meta revised tag:

<meta name="revised" content="Sunday, April 21, 2013, 2:59 am" />

With the help of this plugin, you can very easily implement "meta revised tag" in your WordPress Post and Pages. More details on meta revised tag.
