Have you ever set any kind of goals for your blog? Sure you must have mentally said it to post on a daily basis or write atleast 4 articles per month, but how about letting your blog goals go public so that your readers can track them and help you reach those goals?

DashboardZone plugin for wordpress lets you set your blog goals and monitor them. The goals are displayed in the form of Google Gauges. There are 5 different Gauges available that you can configure to monitor various blogging metrics.

Here are the pre-defined metrics Average Comments/Post - This is total comments divided by total posts on your blog Average Posts/Month - This is total posts divided by total number of periods you have been blogging Current Month Posts - This is the total posts for the current month Comments for this article - For every post, this will track the total comments Total Posts - Overall total number of posts. This is useful if you are starting new and have set a near term goal of reaching say 200 articles in the next 3-4 months
