BYOB Thesis Simple Header Widgets plugin allows you to combine widgets, navigation, the search form and default Thesis header functions together within the Thesis header, without writing custom code. You can use it to add images, sliders custom menus, sign up forms, calls to action, login forms and virtually anything else that can be added using a widget.

It also includes styling options that allow you to define background colors, background images, padding and margins for the various elements you insert into the header.

Please note that this plugin only works with the the Thesis theme 1.8 and above

This plugin allows you to add widgets to the Thesis Header without creating custom code. With it you can do any of the following:

  • Divide the header into two areas either horizontally or vertically (left and right sides or top or bottom)
  • Add widgets to either or both of the areas
  • Define the height, width, background color and background image of the header area
  • Define the height, width, background color and background image of either header area
  • Define the padding and margins for either header area and for the entire header area
  • Retain the default Thesis header functions for one of the header areas
  • Add the Thesis Nav Menu to one of the header areas
  • Add the search form to one of the header areas
