Tired of link every Twitter profile cited in your posts and pages? Birdfy allows you to automagically transforms your @users and #hashtags markups in your posts/pages into links to Twitter profiles/hashtags search.
All you have to do is install this plugin, and you’re good to go.
Features
- Automatically discovers @ and # content into your posts and pages (excluding e-mails, dots after usernames and so on);
- You can disable users and/or hashtags discovery both globally or in individual posts/pages;
- Optionally, you can choose to open the links in a new window/tab.
Usage
Simply install the plugin and start to cite Twitter profiles by using @ before the twitter username you want to link, and the plugin will transform it into a link to the profile. Same with hashtags, by simply use # before any word – like in Twitter.
If you want to fine tune the plugin, you still can go to the Options page, named “Birdy Settings” (inside the Settings menu) and enable/disable the options you want. Remember that this options will act globally.
You may want to disable @users/#hashtags links in individual posts/pages also. In this case, just disable what you want in the box created inside your post/page administration page.
